The Dude and the Diva by PortraitsbyCaroline The Dude and the Diva by PortraitsbyCaroline
A lovable crazy boxer, he is so playful and an uncooperative madam of a greyhound, customer delighted with her commission, I like this one too!

Hi thank you for your comment, no the gradient is nothing I did with pastel, must be something to do with the uv light and the camera I used to photograph it, the original is all black, I was going to take another pic of it but it had to get framed and go to the customer so I never got round to it.

beautiful lighting on the subjects and I love the detail too. Is the slightly lighter tone on the right hand side from the photo, or did you actually make a gradient on the paper? Either way it looks fantastic! I don't know why more people haven't found your art yet!

I thought I'd replied to this comment ages ago, but it doesn't appear to show on here. Just in case I'll reply again lol. I didn't make a gradient on the paper, think it was a lighting thing!! I was going to re take a picture but it got framed and off to the customer before I got round to retaking the photo. x

Ahh I see :) It looks lovely either way. I do like a nice solid black background on a portrait!
